In June, our company received the first domestic volume of Super 2507 for exhaust gas purification system (EGCS) from Nippon Alloy Corporation.
On July 16th, Masanori GOKOU, the manager of the Welding Technology Research Center, Dr. Wei Fugao, the general manager of the Technology Research Center, and Yu Jianguang, the sales manager of Japan Alloy Industry Corporation, visited our company and provided guidance on welding technology research.
Super 2507 effectively improves the corrosion resistance of the weld zone in the Exhaust Gas Purification System (EGCS) system, especially compared to ordinary 2507, Super 2507 has a significant improvement on long-term stress corrosion.
High corrosion resistant welded steel pipes manufactured using NAS74NU and TG329J4L.
Super duplex stainless steel NAS74NU (≥ 42.5) has a stable structure, is not prone to harmful phase precipitation, and has good corrosion resistance and welding performance. Steel pipes welded with TG329J4L welding wire have very high corrosion resistance.
Welded pipe: NAS74NU (ASTM A928 Class 2, UNS S32750)
Inner diameter: 274mm, thickness: 15mm
Welding wire: TG329J4L (ER2594), diameter 2.0, 2.4mm
Welding method: manual GTAW
Heat input: 1.6-2.5kJ/mm
Protective gas: 98% Ar+2% N2
Longitudinal weld section structure of welded pipe and joint structure of circumferential joint for welded pipe joint
Corrosion resistance of welded pipes and welds ASTM G48 MethodC (CPT)
Welded pipe base material: 70 ℃
Longitudinal weld seam of welded pipe: 65 ℃
Circumferential seam (welded state): 45 ° C
Circular seam (surface grinding): 55 ° C
